I have become, in recent years, one of those gamers that just wants to throw myself into the game, have fast action and don't care too much about story but Chained Echoes managed to bring back the old me that loves a gripping storyline, characters and sitting through cutscenes. With customization options, Echoes of the Forgotten offers a dynamic and engaging experience that keeps players coming back for more.After completing the game and 100%ing the achievements, I can say that this is one of the best JRPGs I have played in quite some time. Players can team up with friends or face off against each other in a range of game modes, each with its own unique challenges and rewards. Players must balance their exploration and puzzle-solving with the need to maintain their sanity and avoid falling victim to the malevolent forces that haunt Whisper Hollow.Įchoes of the Forgotten also includes a variety of multiplayer modes, from cooperative investigations to competitive puzzle races and survival challenges. As players witness terrifying events and spend prolonged periods in darkness, their sanity will deteriorate, causing hallucinations, distorted visuals, and impaired decision-making.
